POLOKWANE – The Polokwane Municipality is appealing to the public is to use water cautiously due to the fact that the reservoir levels have shown a fast decline pattern over the past three days.
“The reservoir levels have dropped from about 48% to just under 20% percent in under three days,” reads a statement issued by the Polokwane Municipality earlier today (Sunday)
“The public is advised to stop watering of gardens as this has been identified as the main consumer of water. Should the situation continue, the areas that are in the high catchment would experience low pressure while others will experience water shortages.”
Water and sanitation issues should be reported to the municipality on the following numbers 0152902376/2473.
