Hashtag hustler takes the spotlight

Cliff Billionair Ntimbani is embracing the hashtag movement and using it to market his clothing brand, #Malwela Clothing.

POLOKWANE – The Seshego-based designer established his #Malwela Clothing brand in 2013 and recently launched trademark T-shirts.

“I am ambitious, a dreamer, and a self-driven person. With #Malwela Clothing I do not necessarily sell fashion, I sell inspiration. The quality of the T-shirts, although important, is not the most important, the inspiration and message is the most important quality of the T-shirts. One needs to focus and be creative to attract customers. I want to open my own fashion store, be my own boss, and help to create job opportunities, those are my main goals.”

He wants everyone to own a #Malwela Clothing T-shirt and be inspired by his work.

“#Malwela followed each of my tweets to inspire my followers. I soon realised I could sell this inspiration and this is how the T-shirt business started.”

Along with being a designer, he also holds a diploma in electrical engineering from Capricorn TVET College and a certificate in business management.

He recently launched a science engineering and technology company, the Billionair Company Group, which specialises in tools hiring, information technology, and electrical engineering.

His advice to the youth is to listen to their parents and focus on their education as those are key elements which can help them make a success of themselves.
