Limpopo court grants former Muvhango star bail

Former Muvhango star, Joe Ragwala's cases are still far from over.

LIMPOPO – Last Wednesday he was granted R1 000 by the Ritavi Magistrate’s Court after contravening the protection order at his girlfriend’s family’s house in Tzaneen.

Aside from this case, he and his girlfriend, Doris Mthembi, will appear in the Sibasa Regional Court on 172 counts of fraud brought against them by the Inject Paramedic College owner, Goddard Mugwena.

The two will again appear in court from 20 to 21 July in the Giyani Magistrate’s Court on charges of conspiracy to commit murder. Moses Ntsenene and Vincent Phakula were sentenced to six years’ imprisonment each by Magistrate Johannes Coetzee in the Malamulele Magistrate’s Court in December 2014 for the attempted murder of Mugwena. In prison the two turned state witness where they revealed the names of the mastermind in the case said to be Ragwala and Mthembi, James Ragwala (Joe’s father), Joyce Ragwala (sister) and another family member, Tintswalo Mhlari.
