Mnamote’s charity work helps those in need

Zee World Miss Teen Commonwealh South Africa finalist, Mnamote Kekana (17) made the donation to Mokopane Noodforum as part of her charity work.

MOKOPANE – A lot of canned food and R20 912 brought a big smile to the face of Eulogia de Wet (social worker) at the Mokopane Noodforum after a helping hand showed she cares.

De Wet, was surprised when Zee World Miss Teen Commonwealh South Africa finalist, Mnamote Kekana (17) donated food and R20 912.

Kekana, a learner at Hoërskool Piet Potgieter, donated the money as part of her charity work for the competition.

De Wet said: “We are grateful for this money and food, because we still received no answer or financial support from government.”

She said that April was a very difficult month to raise money, but thanks to people like Kekana and the Dyno Day money raising project, the Noordforum’s doors remains open.

Kekana said that she decided to donate the money to the Noodforum as the organisation reaches out to a lot of people in the community and does great deeds to ensure at least a little bit of happiness to others.
