First Limpopo meat expo
The Round Table Pietersburg 22 is proudly presenting the inaugural Limpopo Meat Expo.
POLOKWANE – The event will take place on Thursday, 30 March at the Pietersburg Club. The event that is the first of its kind in Limpopo, will include a variety of items.
These include:
• An opportunity for anyone in the meat industry to showcase its products to the curious consumers present at this stylish and unique event.
• The format of this function will in many ways be similar to most wine shows in that exhibitors like yourself can promote your product range by allowing attendees to taste your meat products straight from the butcher’s block.
• The event will not be a formal competition, but the intention is rather to create a platform for meat processors to promote themselves and to boast with products.
• The main focus will be on all meat products such as biltong, droëwors, steak and your very own specialities and to advertise services offered by participating exhibitors, such as the processing of game meat, especially with the coming hunting season in mind.
On the day Martin Kobald, the Honorary President of the South African Chefs Association, and Dirk Liebenberg, well-known local chef, will demonstrate braai methods and share handy tips to entertain the guests.
The dress code for the day will be casual.
