Well known information technology (IT) company, IT Experts yesterday (Wednesday) celebrated their tenth year of helping companies in and around Polokwane reach their full business potential through IT support.
Owner Jeandré de Beer and his wife, Surika started the company in 2007 because they wanted to be financially independent and make a contribution to the city’s economy.
Jeandré handled the technical aspects while Surika is the Financial Manager.
After only six months of running the business from home, they were able to rent offices in town and in 2012 the company moved to its permanent residence at 5 Adjudant Mauritz Dommisie Street in the Ismini Office Estate just off Hillary Drive in Bendor.
Today the company that started with only two determined people, employs nine.
“We mainly work with businesses and that is why our service is so important. We know that when a company’s computers or network is down, all work comes to a halt and we have to act quickly to ensure a fast and efficient solution to their problems,” Jeandré says.
Surika adds that customer service that goes above and beyond what is expected is what separates IT Experts from other IT companies in Polokwane and Limpopo.
IT Experts has a well organised and equipped workshop on site, but only remove computers from customers’ premises when necessary.
“It is more cost effective and much faster to resolve issues on site if possible,” he says, adding that IT Experts also offers remote support where they log into the customer’s computer remotely to solve software problems without having to charge an additional call-out fee.
Other services IT Experts offer include Desktop and Server Support, networking installations, computer sales and repairs, digital telephone systems with unlimited calls per month (Voip) and affordable on-site contracts.
They also offer an optional service where the customer is guaranteed help within one hour
