Cansa hosts exciting charity bowls final
Tonight, Tuesday February 28, the final round of the Cansa evening bowls tournament will take place.
POLOKWANE – David Booth, Cansa volunteer and fundraiser, encourages participating teams to come out in their numbers to support this last round, in the name of charity. The games start at 18:00.
Last week’s cold weather perhaps prevented all the participating teams to pitch for the match. The weather forecast for tonight is clear skies with an estimate of 20 degree Celsius along with a slight breeze. Perfect weather for a game of evening bowls.
Booth says the Cansa social bowls tourney is just one of numerous events Cansa hosts to raise funds.
“We are also currently staging Cansa’s Shavethon events at various schools in the city which will continue throughout March. On Saturday 4 March, Cansa will host a Shavethon at Thornhill Shopping Centre,” Booth said.
