Traffic Advisory: transformer causes obstruction on Dendron Rd

The truck was travelling from Durban to the Congo when it broke down.

POLOKWANE – An abnormal-load truck broke down opposite a garage on the Dendron road on Tuesday, 21 February, causing an obstruction in traffic.

The truck was traveling from Durban to the Congo when the incident happened.

It was carrying an 88 ton transformer that was not supposed to shift but when the truck broke down, the transformer moved.

Traffic Officials were on the scene to regulate traffic until the necessary equipment and trucks arrived to assist.
