‘He leaves a great legacy’

One of his sons, Genius Mamutse, a law student at the University of Limpopo, said that he lost his best friend when his father died

Trust Mamutse (52), Director and Educator, passed away on 10 February after a short illness.

Trust, who was a director and in partnership with Better Best College, started his career of in Zimbabwe and moved to South Africa where he completed a business management degree.

He was married to Hellen Sibongile who died two months previously.

One of his dearest friends, Jabhu Mashamaite, brought the sad news to Bosveld.

Mashamaite describes Mamutse as a good, down-to-earth man. “He was a man of education and he lived to transform the lives of the disadvantaged. Personally he played an instrumental part in my life by helping me to obtain my public manager diploma,” he said.

Mashamaite said everyone who knew Mamutse will surely miss him, especially his caring smile.

One of his sons, Genius Mamutse, a law student at the University of Limpopo, said that he lost his best friend when his father died. “My father was always proud of all of his children. He made a big impact on many lives and he leaves a great legacy with his children.”
