Polokwane Municipality will introduce off street parking management for some parking areas within the central business district (CBD) from Monday.
According to acting Communications and Marketing Manager of the municipality Matshidiso Mothapo, the system will be operating from 07:30 to 17:30 on weekdays and from 07:30 to 14:00 on Saturdays. Parking on Sundays and Public Holidays will be for free.
“The parking areas at Absa Square, Thabo Mbeki Street next to KFC, Shoprite/Irish House and the Civic Centre will be affected and the tariffs will range from R6 to R48 depending on duration,” Mothapo explained.
