Man ‘cements’ business with stolen goods

The man allegedly stole 110 bags of cement and 14 brick force, which he was also selling.

An man was arrested between 23 and 24 January for allegedly stealing 110 bags of cement and 14 brick force.
According to a statement issued by Sgt. Mmadikgale Masingi, Spokesperson of the Mokopane Police, the accused, who lives in Extention 12 in Mokopane was arrested for allegedly stealing property to the value of R9 275.

According to the complainant, his co-worker informed him of the happenings and  said accused is selling the stolen building material in his yard.

The Mokopane police was informed and they traced the cement and brick forces. About 47 bags of cement was recovered along with brick forces alltogether to te value of R4 182 in different houses around Extention 14.

The suspect appeared in the Mokopane Magistrate Court on Tuesday while the investigation continues.
