LIMPOPO- A warrant of arrest has been issued for two of the three kidnappers involved in the Anisah Moosa kidnapping case.
According to the provincial Hawks Spokesperson, Lt Matimba Maluleke, the three suspects, Samuel Kubo (29), Nyambeni Benny Mudau (35) and Elias Masilo Gafane (34) were supposed to appear in the Mankweng Regional Court yesterday (Wednesday 18 January 2017) to face kidnapping, robbery and attempted murder charges (after their case was transferred from Polokwane Magistrate Court to Mankweng Regional Court) but Kubo and Mudau did not show up.
Anisah was kidnapped outside her uncle’s home in Nirvana in March, 2016 and was held hostage while the kidnappers demanded ransom from her family.
A rescue operation led to her safe return.
This is not the first time that Kubo and Mudau have been arrested, following the kidnapping.
