New school, NCA, embraces future

Combining the two schools, CAA and NCA, sees the new school opening in the new year with close to 500 learners, almost double the capacity both schools had previously.

POLOKWANE – Christian Achievers Academy (CAA) closed their doors for the last time at the end of last year when after several years of speculation and rumours, the school was sold.

The owner of the Northview Christian Academy (NCA), Charmaine Botha, is the new owner of the school grounds and building.

NCA held their open day on Tuesday where parents of former CAA learners and new NCA learners could see some of the upgrades done to the school and office buildings.

“We have out in a lot of work to renovate and upgrade the school and having it look great for the learners and personnel,” Botha said.

Some of the upgrades include new smart boards to bring the best in technology to the teaching of learners at the school.

“Our teachers have undergone extensive training and have years of experience, so parents can rest assured that their children are in good, capable hands.”

“I look forward to seeing the school grow from strength to strength as we prepare the parents’ most precious assets for their future in our Christian-based school,” Botha concluded.

One of the new parents, Bongani Ledwaba, said he was greatly impressed by the transformation the school has undergone. “The school has been transformed into an impressive learning environment and I commend them on a job well done so far,” he said.

Former Principal of CAA, pastor Bojan Palic, said the school still had several changes in the pipeline but assured parents that their children are in good hands.
