Thalita Koum Girls Network promoting a better future for our girls
A breakfast held this morning (Friday) at Miami Lodge served as a fundraiser for the project
Thalita Koum Girls Network started by MEC of Sports, Arts and Culture, Onicca Moloi, is a charity organization whose primary objective is to improve the lives of young girls from disadvantaged areas and to help needy learners enroll at institutions of higher learning.
A breakfast held this morning (Friday) at Miami Lodge served as a fundraiser for the project and all proceeds will go towards funding studies of young people who, without any form of intervention, are unlikely to get tertiary education.
“The little money that we are have raised will make a positive change in someone’s life, and we believe this gesture will encourage many other South Africans to extend a helping hand,” said Moloi.
