Matric Results: How to Register
Matric learners can register to receive their results via sms or ussd on Thursday, 5 January.
POLOKWANE – The Department of Basic Education (DBE) announced yesterday, that matric results would be released on Wednesday, 4 January.

Matrics will receive their results the following day on 5 January and the department has urged learners to register to receive their results via sms or USSD.
“Matrics are urged to take advantage of the service which will give them access to results via sms or ussd as soon as results are released to the general public,” said the DBE.
HOW TO REGISTER:
For SMS:Â Learners must send their ID number and student number to 35658 at a charge of R1 per sms.
For USSD: Learners can dial *120*35658#, put in their ID number and exam nunber to register and they will get their results once they are released.
The DBE says SABC education will run a call centre to address issues relating to registration processes, confirmation and queries.
The Department will announce results live from Vodacom World in Midrand on Wednesday evening at 6pm.
