LIMPOPO – The Police in Thohoyandou are investigating the gruesome discovery of two burnt bodies inside a house outside Thohoyandou on Sunday morning.
According to a statement issued by Police Spokesperson Lt Col Moatshe Ngoepe, it is alleged that a 36-year-old man who was last seen the previous night with his 25-year-old female partner was found dead together with her inside a house at Lufule 2 location.
“The body of a woman was found in the kitchen whereas that of the man was found in the passage to the kitchen,” said Ngoepe.
“The motive of this incident is still unknown but domestic violence may not be ruled out. Police Forensic Investigators from Pretoria will determine the cause of fire”, he added.
The Police investigations continue, concluded Ngoepe.
