Speaker of the Legislature

Fellow South Africans and the citizens of Limpopo in particular,
Once again the festive season is upon us and Christmas is around the corner. Whoever coined the term ‘Festive Season’ had in mind the festivities that accompany this period and the general mood that prevails in the run-up to and during Christmas.
This is also the time when families gather to enjoy one another’s company at home while at the same time celebrating Christmas.
Let us celebrate without over indulging in alcohol which contributes to unnecessary domestic violence and a high death toll on the roads in our lovely province. Drive carefully and adhere to the speed limit in order to avoid becoming or contributing to road carnage.

Let me take this opportunity to wish all of you a merry Christmas and prosperous New Year.
