The face of Mokopane
A Face of Mokopane Model pageant was held on 10 December at the Mokopane Hotel where a few young ladies were awarded for their beauty.
MOKOPANE – Host, Maxwell Mahlatji and Ayesha Rahim, who provided the training are very pleased with the event turning out as a success even though Maxwell explained that the event was not to his expectation because of the fact that modelling does not seem as popular in Mokopane as elsewhere.
“I have a passion in event management even though I studied IT. I feel that we are definitely going to be hosting more of these modeling pageants as I would like to see this town competing in national and international competitions. We are still planning in holding ‘Miss summer Mokopane’ and ‘Miss Thick Limpopo’ where the aim is to show everyone how comfortable you must be in your own skin”, said Maxwell.
The titles on this event that could have been won was, King, Queen, 1st Prince and Princess, 2nd Prince and Princess, Mr and Miss Personality, Mr and Miss Congeniality and Mr and Miss Public choice.
