Hospital bids farewell to 25 health professionals
The Voortrekker Hospital management gathered last Friday evening at Mokopane Oasis Hotel to bid farewell to 25 aspirant health professionals who served in various positions in the hospital.
MOKOPANE – In his address to the interns, Cllr Malesela Mokwele, the Acting Mayor of Mogalakwena Municipality, said, “It is with a heavy heart that I stand here this evening as are we gathered to bid farewell to the Voortrekker Hospital Health Intern Professionals. It is entirely appropriate that we thank you for the services you have provided to the residents of this municipality”.
He further said: “As the municipality we wish that you remain in this town and that you get permanent appointments when the department advertises vacant positions so that you can continue to serve the residents and to invest in this municipality”.
Earlier on the day, the Voortrekker hospital management, health professionals and more than 250 residents held a World Aids Day 8km Health Walk which is aimed at promoting healthy living in order to fight diseases.
