Three friends created a multiple device charger and hope to expand their market soon
LIMPOPO – A group of young entrepreneurs in the province have taken the country by storm with their latest invention.
Sakkie Kwakwa (27), Diketso Mashile (30) and Colleen Mashawana (35) named their brainchild JustCharge, a device that charges multiple mobile device simultaneously. Each device is placed in its own compartment and can only be extracted via a password chosen by the user.
Kwakwa and Mashile, from Seshego and Mashawana from Thohoyandau teamed up in April this year.
They aim to have the JustCharge device installed in restaurants, hotels, malls, filling stations, stadiums, cinemas and universities.
Kwakwa says turning their idea into a reality was no easy feat and it took some careful planning and innovation.
“It is said that nothing great comes easy. It took a lot of sacrifice, sleepless nights, prayers, research and determination to build up our dream to where it is today but it was all worth it,” Kwakwa says.
The young men achieved all they have without any assistance from the government and they hope, upon seeing their success, government will come on board and provide them with support.
Another goal for the group is to export JustCharge globally and to create employment opportunities for people in their community.
