LIMPOPO – The Limpopo Health Department has obtained a court interdict to stop Rabalago and the members from the church he leads, Mount Zion General Assembly, to refrain from spraying or applying Doom on people, reports The Citizen.

The interdict comes after he was criticised for spraying the insect-killer on his congregants as a form of anointment to “heal and deliver” them from their struggles.
Last week, Health MEC Dr Phophi Ramathuba, vowed to approach the court for consent to have Rabalago sent for mental evaluation. “My concern, and that of others, is that his practice, which he believes is of noble and good intentions, puts the lives of others in danger. We are concerned that the pastor’s practices may be fatal for humans and that, if signs are not visible now, they may be visible later,” she said.
According to the Citizen Rabalago has been ordered to appear before the court on 20 January to give reasons why the interim interdict should not be made final.

When asked why he sprays insect repellent on his congregants, Lethebo said: “Doom is just a name, but when you speak it to, it becomes a healing product it does. People get healed and delivered through Doom. It is not by might nor by power, but by the Holy Spirit. Through spraying the Doom, I anoint them”.
He further recited the book of Mark, 16:15-18: “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptised will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name, they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well”.
The 24-year-old Lethebo said he was already elected in his mother’s womb to become a prophet and that through God he has healed thousands of people.
He proved this by taking to Facebook. He posted oseveral photos of himself spraying himself with the insect killing spray in his own face and eyes.
“The Man of God, Prophet Lethebo demonstrated the Power of God by himself. By putting in his eyes an on the the face of his skin also the mouth.He is giving you answers. We are born of the spirit…..,” reads the caption on the pictures.
