Hospitium is NOT CLOSING DOWN

“We are going to come back with more force, enthusiasm and commitment than in the past - Divisional Manager of Cansa Polokwane, Adri Ras

POLOKWANE – Despite previous reports that the Theunis Fichardt Hospitium is still up and running and the only change it will undergo is in its name, rumours of it shutting down have continued to spread.

Divisional Manager of Cansa Polokwane, Adri Ras has therefore had to issue a letter stating the hospitium is facing financial challenges at present, however they remain steadfast in providing excellent care to cancer patients. And just as they have in the past 25 years, they will bounce back with the support of the generous community of Polokwane.

“We are going to come back with more force, enthusiasm and commitment than in the past. This is a jewel to Polokwane, and with the support of the community we will keep it that way,” Ras stated.

They have established good proposals which have been forwarded to their head office for consideration. Ras reiterates they plan to expand the hospitium, not to close it down.

“If you have any concerns about the hospitium, please feel free to contact me and we can discuss it, but please don’t listen to rumours,” she concludes.
