Hawks walk against corruption, drugs and abuse against woman continues in Mokopane

The Hawks, with the support of other governmental organisations walked from Polokwane to Mokopane against crime, corruption, abuse etc.

POLOKWANE – The Long Walk to Good Health aimed at addressing corruption, fraud, drugs, and abuse against women and children continued this monring.

Thee walkers entered Mokopane at around 08:20 this morning says Hawks Spokesperson, Capt Matimba Maluleke.

“We will distribute pamphlets to the people of Mokopane to help create awareness of the campaign.”

POLOKWANE –  The walk starts at the SABC Park and will move towards the Limpopo Mall. After Polokwane the group will make their way to Mokopane.

According to a statement issued by Hawks Spokesperson, Capt Matimba Maluleke, representatives of the Limpopo Hawks, Office of the Premier, Pholosong NGO, Long Walk to Good Health (NGO) and Department of Transport gathered at the SABC Park for the launch of the Long Walk to Good Health Campaign earlier today.

“This campaign is aimed at addressing corruption, fraud, drugs, and abuse against women and children,” Maluleke says.

The group, preceded by Mr Mogale from Long Walk to Good Health, will hand out pamphlets in the Indian Centre and Limpopo Mall areas in Polokwane.

“From Polokwane the group will move to Mokopane,” Maluleke concludes.
