LIMPOPO – Two more suspects have been arrested in Lephalale thanks to the efforts of the Operation Festive Season officers.
The two suspects aged 21 and 23 were apprehended for a series of shoplifting incidents at various shops in the area.
The vehicle they were using to transport the stolen goods, a Toyota Tazz, was seized during the operation. It was filled with a number of items, including powdered milk, school shoes, underwear, clothes and more.

This according to a statement issued by LT. Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe.
In a separate incident, officers apprehended a 33-year-old man in Namakgale outside Phalaborwa, for possession of suspected stolen goods as well as unlicensed firearms and ammunition.
During the arrest, the following items were recovered:
- A plasm TV
- A firearm
- Ammunition
- Binoculars
- A sound system
- Car keys
- Chairs
- Tool box
- CDs.
These suspects will appear before the Lephalale and Namakgale Magistrates Courts soon and Police investigations are continuing.
