Wedding rings stolen in farm robbery

LIMPOP – Police in Lephalale have embarked on a manhunt for two suspects wanted for housebreaking and theft.

It is alleged that an unknown number of suspects entered a farm on the Beska gravel road 10km outside Lephalale at approximately 04:20 yesterday (Sunday) morning.

They gained entry by breaking a window and stole a Sahara laptop, car keys, two wedding rings, housekeys, and a wallet containing a smart ID card and a driver’s licence. The suspects made away the the homeowner’s Mazda BT50 bakkie, white, with registration number CFK 702 L.  The bakkie is valued at R300 000.

No arrests have been made and police are appealing to anyone with information on the whereabouts of the suspects to contact Detective Captain Hlongwane at 082 565 7968.
