R150 000 shopping spree

Three unknown men robbed a local clothing store on Thursday morning

POLOKWANE – Seshego Police have launched a manhunt for three unknown men who robbed Markham store in the Seshego Circle Centre this morning (Thursday) at around 09:20.

According to Seshego Police Spokesperson, Const Alli Maluleke, one male entered the store and stood next to the cell phone cabinet and asked Kgadifele Prudence Bogoshi, a Markham employee, to assist him.

Bogoshi said the man enquired about J7 and A5 cell phones and Bogoshi told him they had them in stock. “The man called another person to come into the store and buy the phones since the store had them in stock.

“Two more men came into the store and produced a firearm and ordered Bogoshi to take them to the storeroom,” Maluleke explained.

He further said the three men stole All Star sneakers, underwear, schoolbags, Levi jeans and R600 cash.

He said the total cost of the stolen goods is estimated to be around R150 000. He further asked anyone with information to assist the police arrest the perpetrators.
