MOKOPANE – According to provincial police spokesperson, Lt. Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe the suspect allegedly raped a 22-year-old woman in a hotel in Mokopane earlier this year.
“At that point in time there was not enough evidence to make an arrest. Since then new evidence has come to light and the arrest was made last night,” added Ngoepe
The suspect will appear before the Mokopane Magistrate’s Court on Thursday.
Police investigations continue.
As the suspects has not pleaded yet his name is being withheld .
