POLOWANE – Mankweng Police discovered body of a woman in the Ramphele dam in Ga-Molepo on Sunday. According to Mankweng Police Spokesperson, Capt Mohlaka Mashiane, the deceased was naked and had an open wound on her head. He said they believe the body was dumped in the dam on Saturday night.
“The deceased has not been positively identified as of yet and no arrests have been made. We have opened a case of murder and are investigating the matter,” said Mashiane.
He appealed to the community to help with information that could lead to the arrest of the guilty party. He further said anyone with information should come forward and help the police find the family of the deceased, adding this would help with the investigations.
