Arson attack leaves family without home, vehicle

Lt Ngoepe urges anyone with information regarding this incident to come forward.

LIMPOPO – Police in Mecklenburg outside Lebowakgomo have launched a manhunt for suspects who attacked a family and burnt a house and a car last night at Diphale in ga-Makwayi village.

A bedroom suite, a fridge, 2 laptops, a printer, personal computer with the total value of R122-000-00 were destroyed in the blaze. LT. Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe says the motive for the incident is still unknown and no arrests have been made.

Police investigations are still continuing and Lt Ngoepe urges anyone with information to contact Brigadier James Espach at 082 451 7169 or the nearest Police Station or the 24 hour crime stop number 0860010111.
