Polokwane residents went all out to celebrate Casual Day, South Africa’s foremost fundraising campaign for persons with disabilities, last Friday.
The campaign with its fun approach invites all high-spirited South Africans to dress casually in order to help raise funds and create awareness for the inclusion of persons with disabilities into the community.
Stickers were sold at R10 each and participants earned the right to dress up.
The campaign was again well supported this year with various schools and businesses demonstrating their positive attitude towards the cause. The theme ‘up your game’ proved to be very popular with some interesting and creative outfits spotted.
