Police, CPF urge residents to report robberies

Social media was abuzz recently with victims of a new robbery spree, warning motorists to be on alert.

POLOKWANE – These attempted robberies in Munnik Avenue and Hospital Street, where robbers only target cars with  woman and children inside are becoming a daily occurrence.  They attract the driver’s attention by pointing and screaming that there is something wrong with either the tyre or number plate. Police and the CPF in the area are calling on residents to report robbery cases, motorist must be aware of their surroundings and not to stop unless it is safe.

Polokwane Community Policing Forum (CPF) Executive Committee Chairperson, Johan Retters told Review that there have been reports of attempted robberies. He urged residents to report the matter to the CPF and the police.
