POLOKWANE – Residents woke up to a haze of smoke hanging over Bendor this morning (Friday), as a fire broke out at a house in Leigh Avenue.
Homeowner Flora Moloka says the fire started at around 07:30, but it is unclear how the fire started. Flames engulfed the entire house, but Moloka and three occupants managed to get out of the house safely.
Paramedics, police and the fire brigade responded swiftly and were all on the scene.
As to how the fire started, is still being investigated. Moloka says she has no insurance, but according to her it was God’s will.
