Mining companies and other interested parties have the rare opportunity to bid on a Rapier Dragline W700 at an online auction run by SA Auction Group.
The auction closes today (Thursday) and serious bidders are encouraged to contact Jacques le Roux at 082 903 5453 as soon as possible.
The Dragline W700 walking excavator is in great condition after being operated for only 18 000 hours. The walking movement of this piece of equipment is preferred as caterpillar tracks place too much pressure on the ground and often have great difficulty under the immense weight of the dragline.
The bucket of this Rapier Dragline W700 has a volume of
11 m³. Draglines remain popular in mining due to their reliability and extremely low waste removal cost and heavy equipment like the Rapier Dragline W700 rarely becomes available on auction.
A refundable deposit of R20 000 is payable to be part of this exceptional opportunity.
