LIMPOPO – Lt Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe says it’s alleged that between 21:00 and 23:00, the suspects ordered the security guards to lie down at gunpoint and robbed them. “Two cellphones, eight chainsaws, six digging forks, 28 litres of diesel, seven car batteries, six car wheels, a compressor, a generator, two car jacks, a toolbox, 20 litres of oil, a Nissan canopy and they attempted to steal a car but failed before they fled the scene with an unknown car,” explained Ngoepe.
Ngoepe says the estimated value of the robbed items is R300 000 and anyone with information on the identity of the suspects, must please contact the nearest Police Station, Captain Theo Mans (082 445 7627) or the 24 hour crime stop number 0860010111.
Police investigations are still continuing.
