Nursing assistant faces 2nd charge, case postponed

Mokgadi Monica Ramusi appeared in the Polokwane Magistrate’s Court today (Thursday) on the charge of unlawful possession of ARV tablets.

POLOKWANE – The 44-year old nursing assistant who was arrested for being in possession of stolen Antiretroviral (ARV’s) medication appeared in the Polokwane Magistrate’s Court today (Thursday) on the charge of unlawful possession of ARV tablets.

The case was postponed to 29 August where she will be appearing in the Morebeng Magistrate Court, in Botlokwa on the added charge of theft of ARV tablets said Limpopo Spokesperson for the Hawks, Capt Matimba Maluleke.

Mokgadi Monica Ramusi who was stationed at at the Makgatho Clinic in Botlokwa was arrested by the Hawks Anti-Corruption Unit after attempting to sell stolen ARV’s to an undercover police officer on 28 June.

Ramusi is out on R1000 bail.
