Police: report crimes to the station in your area
Residents are urged to find out which police station their area falls under so they can get the best and most effective support.
POLOKWANE – During a recent anti-crime campaign, Westenburg police officers went door-to-door in Ladanna where they informed residents which police station they should contact in case of emergency.
“It has happened that people report crimes to any police station and then have to wait to be referred to the correct police station, which is a time-consuming process. People also enquire about cases at the wrong police station which often lead to confusion,” said Westenburg Police Spokesperson Const Maphure Manamela.
Residents must ensure they know which station to contact to avoid confusion she added.
