LIMPOPO -36-year-old Phineas Malangoane was rearrested on Sunday night at Ivory Park Tembisa. Malangoane was originally arrested on two counts of rape and will appear in the Lephalale Magistrates’ Court on a charge of escaping from lawful custody.
The search for the remaining three suspects, Silence Duba (23), Thomas Chuma (29) and Clifford Muhonhori (33) continues says provincial police spokesperson, Col Ronel Otto.
The men were previously arrested on charges of rape, armed robbery and are to be considered armed and dangerous she adds.
“Public are advised not to approach them but rather liaise with the police.”
The circumstances around the escape are still being investigated she concludes.
