POLOKWANE – Two areas in Seshego will be without electricity on Sunday 7 August due to scheduled repair work on the substations in the area.
Zone 8 and zone 5 will be affected by the maintenance on the Sesehgo Zone 8 and Zone 5 substation. The power outage is to start at 08:00 and last until around 15:00 reports municipal spokesperson, Matshidiso Mothapo.
Preparation work will be done in advance to minimize the outage time she adds.
“The municipality will pull all available resource to ensure that power is restored according to plan.”
Residents and members of the public are advised to switch off the all electrical appliances to avoid damage when power is restored.
“All electrical wires should be treated as live during this period,” warns Mothapo.
Polokwane Municipality apologises for the inconvenience caused.
