Curro Northern Academy hosts first Vuvuzela Battle

See the Gr. 10 learners in action during first ever Vuvuzela Battle

POLOKWANE – Curro Northern Academy gr. 7 to 10’s at the school’s Suid Street campus competed on Friday competed in the school’s first Vuvuzela Battle.

Hester Myburgh, one of the operational heads at Northern Academy, spearheaded the initiative. According to Myburgh is this occasion aimed to create a positive spirit amongst the learners.

Learners practiced days in advance for the event, which entailed singing and dancing performances.

The judges agreed unanimously that the gr.10’s Greece performance stole the show and they were awarded as the first titleholders of the Northern Academy Vuvuzela Battle.
