Cuppa for Cancer cans now at your favourite eatery

The Cansa Association of South Africa (Cansa) is a non-profit organisation that is dependent on the community for financial support

POLOKWANE – To raise funds, Cansa hosts a variety of initiatives such as the Cuppa for Cancer, where residents can donate money in cans that are placed around the city.

Residents can also host for a Cuppa for Cancer, which can be in the form of a braai, tea party, dance, formal dinner or anything they can think of.

This year, the Cansa Polokwane team has placed the Cuppa for Cancer cans at various businesses in the city to see who can raise the most money.

David Booth, Community Mobiliser and Fundraiser at Cansa Polokwane, has also placed cans in various restaurants in the city.

“I want to thank not only the participating restaurants, but also every resident who has donated something. This money will be used well,” says David.

Cuppa for Cancer cans can be found in the following restaurants:

Falcon Spur, Amarillo Spur, Panarottis Mall of the north, Ocean Basket Mall of the North, Ocean Basket Savannah Mall, Cappuccinos, Mikes Kitchen, Maxis Mall of the North and Wimpy Cycad.
