During the current winter school holidays, Mall of the North is going the extra mile to make mall visits pleasant for kids and their parents alike.
Besides child centred shops, entertainment venues and restaurants, mall management made sure that there is ample entertainment for children through their Kids Club and the Wildrides Amusement Park in the overflow parking lot at the cinema entrance.
On 23 July, members of the Kids Club will take part in some Minion Madness in the Game Court under the watchful eye of caretakers. There are limited spaces available and parents are encouraged to book their children’s place for this fun day as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. To book places, interested parties can send an email to events@mallofthenorth.co.za. The first 20 Kids Club members to shop up on the day will receive a special goody bag filled with surprises.
The Minion Madness will take place in two sessions, one at 09:00 and one at 11:00. The fun will include making banana splits, making a minion and having photos taken with minions afterwards.
The Wildrides Amusement Park will be at the mall until 18 July. Here young and old can experience the excitement of scary thrill rides and the fun of rides designed for younger customers.
The amusement park opens at 11:00 on week days and 10:00 on weekends and the fun doesn’t stop until late at night.
