Ster Park armed robbery: suspects still at large

Suspects forced the owner to hand over valuables.

POLOKWANE –  Four armed suspects involved in an armed robbery in De Wet Rylaan are still on the run from authorities, says the police.

One person, who is believed to be the owner of the house was shot and injured in the incident and is currently still in hospital, confirmed Polokwane Police Spokesperson, Capt Ntobeng Phala.

According to Capt Phala the suspects entered the house and forced the owner to hand over valuables. They shot the owner before they fled the scene.

A police helicopter searched the area last night (Thursday) and police officials were searching the vicinity around Ster Park and Bendor.

The suspects fled the scene in a white car, no information regarding the make or model of the car is available. The four men are believed to be armed and dangerous.
