LIMPOPO – LT Col Moatshe Ngoepe reported: “Four suspects kidnapped the 34-year-old and demanded ransom from the family over the weekend. The victim was taken to a house in Kwakwalata Village in Mapela, where he shouted for help and community member’s respondent to his plea. They caught one of the suspects and beat him to death with various objects.”
Ngoepe further stated: “The other three suspects fled the scene and the victim was rescued unharmed.”
A case of kidnapping and murder have been opened and investigations are ongoing.
The police are appealing to the community to contact their nearest police station with information regarding the three escapees.
