LIMPOPO – Today in a statement the ANC said: “We have mandated these candidates to strengthen their municipalities’ on supply chain management, project management, maintenance of infrastructure and development planning. We are confident that they will serve their communities with respect, humility, honesty, dignity and honour.”
The candidates are as follows:
- Capricorn District Municipaity – John Mpe,
- Polokwane Municipality – Thembi Nkadimeng
- Sekhukune District Municipality – Stan Ramaila
- Mopane District Municipality – Nkakareng Rakgoale
- Greater Tzaneen Local Municipality – Maripe Mangena
- Waterberg District Municipality – Morris Mataboge
- Mogalakwena Municipality – Andrina Matsemela
- Lephalale Municipality – Moloko Jack Maeko
- Vhembe District Municipality – Florence Radzilani
- Musina Local Municipality – Mihloti Ethel Muhlope.
The statement further read: “Limpopo is the home of the ANC; we have always maintained a clean sweep of all municipalities in all previous municipal elections. We shall once again win all the municipalities in the province come the elections on 3 August. We will demonstrate the might of this power before the Election Day.”
“On 17 July the ANC are hosting the mother of all rallies in Limpopo at the Peter Mokaba Stadium where the multitudes of the people of Limpopo will gather to confirm their resolve of keeping all municipalities under the ANC. We shall win all these municipalities in honour of the late MEC for Agriculture and Rural Development, Joy Matshoge.”
