POLOKWANE – According to the couple’s daughter, her parents had an argument over domestic issues, and her mother called the police.
“We had to wait for the police at the local shopping complex, but we did not know that my father had followed us there,” she said.
When the man approached, he fired warning shots before shooting his wife in the buttocks, thighs and chest.
Seshego police spokesperson, WO Mothemane Malefo, confirmed a case of attempted murder was opened.
“The suspect appeared before the Seshego Magistrate’s Court today (Monday), and the case was postponed to tomorrow (Tuesday) for a formal bail application,” said Malefo.
The wife was transported to hospital, where she is in a stable condition.
