Good Samaritan gives school uniforms to needy learners

Rananga says he saw a need to lend a helping hand to those who are less fortunate in order for them to feel comfortable and warm during winter

LIMPOPO – Needy learners from various schools in and around Folovhodwe village outside Mutale will no longer worry about catching a cold this winter thanks to businessman, Fhatuwani Rananga, for his donation of school uniforms.

Rananga says he saw a need to lend a helping hand to those who are less fortunate in order for them to feel comfortable and warm during winter.

Rananga’s company, The Best FJR has another wing called, The Best Youth Development, which is responsible for outreach projects.

“Many learners quit school because of their parents cannot afford to buy their school uniforms, we want to help these learners focus on their studies by taking care of their problem. Learners are our future leaders, and it is up to us to help them,” says Rananga.

Alvina Ramarumo, Principal of Tshapinda Primary School, says she is thankful for the generous donation.

” We have many learners who do not have school uniforms, some come to school barefoot; they are the ones who will be the happiest to receive their new school uniforms,” Ramarumo says.
