MOKOPANE – This winter, DStv Mzansi Bioskop Nights will feature a first glimpse of blockbuster local films in open theatres (community centres, school halls, open air) around South Africa.
One event is set to take place each month in a different province, having launched in Mpumalanga earlier this month, this Friday (1 July 2016) will see the Limpopo leg taking place in Mokopane.
After the astounding success of Secunda’s June Bioskop Night, the second event will take place at the Mokopane Civic Centre. Attendees will be spoiled with the multiple award-winning local hit Thina Sobabili, and afterwards a meet and greet with the stars from the show.
Space to the venue is limited and is based strictly on a first-come-first-served basis.
“Bringing these Bioskop Nights to the community will ensure that people don’t have to travel into town to watch a movie. They will get a perfect picture on a large screen with surround sound in their own community. We plan to have guest appearances by our DStv Access Brand Ambassador Kenny Nkosi, as well as various Mzansi Bioskop stars to further make this experience memorable – brought by DStv Access,” says Marketing Manager for The Mass Market Portfolio, MultiChoice South Africa, Hellen Dinawane.

The events serve as opportunities for families to come together after a hard week, relax, and enjoy the finest original African storytelling around.”
The Bioskop Nights come in line with the recent Mzansi Bioskop channel revamp of 1 June 2016.
