Residents of Mzombane Village outside of Mokopane embarked on a peaceful march

LIMPOPO – Residents of Mzombane Village outside of Mokopane embarked on a peaceful march today (Friday) to voice their concerns over water and electricity.

Escorted by local traffic and police officials, the protesters marched to the offices of the Department of Cooperative Governance, Human Settlements and Traditional Affairs (Coghsta), where they handed over a memorandum of grievances.

Residents are advised to be alert when driving along Thabo Mbeki Drive in front the Coghsta building.

Police and traffic officials are on the scene.
