The prestigious annual Regional Business Achiever Awards (RBAA) function of the Limpopo Branch of the Businesswomen’s Association of South Africa (Bwasa) will be hosted at Meropa Casino and Entertainment World on 27 July.
The guest speaker will be Maite Nkoana-Mashabane, Minister of International Relations and Cooperation who will present an exciting talk around “Pioneering Women Movements for Economic Empowerment”.
Awards are to be made in the categories of Emerging Entrepreneurs, Entrepreneurs, Professionals, Corporates, Social Entrepreneurs and Women in Government.
“Every year we give recognition to women who are in service to society, have been working hard and have succeeded in making their mark in their respective fields of expertise. Furthermore, the event aims to empower women with tips for success and to profile businesses in their various sectors.
In line with the 60 year’s commemoration of the 1956 Women’s March, we have themed this year’s awards as 60 years under the stars,” Mmabogoshi Msiza, Chairperson of Bwasa Limpopo informed.
The event will start at 18:00 and tickets cost R300 for members and R350 for non-members.
Further information may be obtained from Branch Coordinator Elizabeth Modiba at Limpopo@bwasa.co.za or 015 297 8876/083 278 2040.
