LIMPOPO – According to information the Rhino Project Task Team members were on patrol when they stopped and searched a white Toyota bakkie with a Limpopo registration number at about 05:30 yesterday morning said provincial police spokesperson Col Malesela Ledwaba.
“Upon searching the vehicle they found a bag containing four white lion claws, a head and a tail,” added Ledwaba.
The three suspects aged between 34 and 41 are expected to appear before Namakgale Magistrate Court today (Monday) on charges of illegal possession of protected animal species.
